The workshops will cover :

• Scene setting – consumer/market direction (hear from grains, livestock and banking sector experts).

• Understanding the emissions in Ag (specific to local Great Southern farming systems) and carbon lingo e.g. scopes 1,2,3.

• Understanding productivity efficiencies and value of insetting vs. offsetting.

• Learn more about what a carbon project is, the risks of carbon projects and what kind of projects are likely feasible in the Great Southern.
